This was my 4th cold fusion getaway and I enjoyed it so much! It’s such a seamless way to get to the mountains, improve with esf ski school which is my favorite and have nothing to think about beyond getting to Geneva airport! Thank you cold fusion team for all your efforts everything you do is very appreciated. This is not a singles holiday by the way: it is a solo ski focused getaway and that’s key, as the focus of the group is to ski and improve and enjoy being in the mountains as a group rather than alone. Great for last minute trips too!

So it was with some trepidation, not worry, but this was my first ever solo holiday, let alone ski trip. Having fallen out of sync with my ususal ski buddies and desparately wantiong to squeeze a ski trip before starting a new job, I happened across Cold Fusion. It was late in the season (final week of the season to be clear). Snow conditions wise, i was going to take what I was given either way. Spring conditions, icey in the morning, heavy under foot in the afternoon. I do not want to review Chamonix or to a certain extent the chalet, it doesn't belong to Cold Fusion, but it was thier choice and thier choice how to operate it given the location. All I will say is that Chalet Chari is an amaxing piece of interior design, testimony to the woman that owns it and who was there in another 'space' within the chalet grounds. Our chalet hosts, husband and wife duo, Lauren & Eddie could not do enough for us. They are expirenced hospitality professionals having both run a resturant and also Chalet hosted for a number of years. Food was impeciable, flexibility was endless and they catered for all our individual needs whatever it was. One day we took a trip over to Verbier to ski there. Taken in the Mini buss by Steve Nicky Jackson, the owners of Cold Fusion. We also skied the day with thier two lovely daughters who were fun to ski with, funny, respectful and polite. I found Cold fusion by chance and I can say it was one of the best ski trips I've been on and the company of the other guests was an absolute pleasure. There are not enough stars to rate Cold Fusion properly...!

From the curated chauffeuring to the best-slopes-of-the-day to the 5 star attention and delicious food, this place has it all. I truly felt cared about as much as care for. The guests were wonderful group of solo skiers at differing abilities allowing us to challenge ourselves, or not. The chef had multiple food allergies he needed to accommodate and the food was delicious - as were the apps when we returned from apres ski. If you are single skier looking to ski the alps without skiing alone, this is a built in community who share the same passion.

Everything was so easy – transfers, ski hire, lessons, getting to the slopes – all taken care of, which makes a huge difference when travelling solo with a child. The chalet was lovely, the food was excellent, and the whole team clearly know what they’re doing. What really stood out was how great they are with kids. Leon had other children to ski and spend time with, and it made the whole experience so enjoyable for both of us. Such a relaxed, friendly atmosphere – we’ll definitely be back.

Can’t rate this highly enough, super easy, good comms, great hosts, amazing food and service throughout and a great mix of new friends to ski, party and chill with.

The apartment is in a strategic location for starting many hiking routes, especially the Tour du Mont Blanc. There’s a lovely green space in front of the apartment where children can play.

We really enjoyed our stay – the accommodation is well-suited for a family holiday. There's a very friendly dog next door who kept the kids entertained throughout our visit.....We definitely recommend it.

Stephen is a super host and the accommodation is in a fantastic location. We booked at short notice, and Stephen responded quickly and arranged everything for our arrival. Throughout our stay, we felt very welcome, and Stephen generously shared his knowledge and offered help to make the most of our visit to Mont Blanc. The property is right next to the start of Stage 1 of the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB), making it a perfect base for excursions and adventures. The apartment is simple but clean and cozy. There’s no indoor lounge area to gather in, but the outdoor spaces more than make up for it — and that’s really why you come here. 🤩 The apartment is on the ground floor of the host family's house and has its own private patio just outside the door. We loved having breakfast there, and it was a big hit when Stephen brought out the ping-pong table and football goal for us to enjoy on the lawn. Very dog-friendly — our dog loved running around and playing with the host’s and neighbors’ dogs. We would gladly come back again!

You can see the distant snow-capped mountains; the location is excellent.

We had a great weekend with my children at Stephen's place. The setting at the foot of Mont Blanc is incredible, and the children loved the dog and the garden. Thank you for everything — it was wonderful!

This is the second time I've been to the chalet in Chamonix and, once again, I had the time of my life! I intend to go back there every year for fabulous skiing, great socializing, absolutely delectable food, and utter comfort! Thank you so much for the incredible service Cold Fusion! :)

After having skied for many years in groups, and as part of a couple, it had taken me a few false starts to pluck up the courage to go on a solos ski trip. I am so glad that I took the plunge and found I can still ski after a gap of 5 years - hurray 😃 Lauren, Eddie and Fede were brilliant chalet hosts in Chamonix and everything was taken care-of. Eddie is a talented chef and the food was delicious. The chalet was comfortable and comes with the bonus of a sauna and Jacuzzi If you are thinking of going it alone with a Cold Fusion ski trip, do it.

I simply cannot recommend Cold Fusion enough. The whole experience was of the highest order throughout the entire week. All of the staff went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure all the guests were tended to throughout their stay. The administration was efficient and the logistical aspect of transferring guests to and around the resort was all organised with military precision. Nothing was ever too much for the Cold Fusion team. On the skiing side, the Vallee Blanche was certainly the pinnacle of a week steeped in high points, and the Cold Fusion set up allowed us to ski a different area each day, allowing us to explore all that the Chamonix ski area has to offer. The dining experience was truly something to behold. The in house chef and expert chalet team provided a 3 course culinary delight evening after evening, which never faltered. All in all........I can't wait to go back next year!

With some trepidation and excitement, I booked for a solo skiers week for over 50's for the first week in March 2025 in Chalet Chalupa. I needn't have worried. The trip was much more than I could have hoped for. The group was an eclectic mix of people, with mixed abilities who love to ski, socialize respectfully, and relax after a day on the slopes. The chalet was warm and spacious and comfortable, the food was fantastic, and the staff and fellow travelers were welcoming and friendly. We skied somewhere different each day, and nothing was too much trouble for Stephen and Fede who dropped us and collected us daily from the gondola stations. The sky was blue and the sun shone, and the snow was good, what more could you ask for! The pistes were groomed nightly ready for each new day. There was a heated boot room ready for our return each evening to the chalet and a delicious cake waited for us on the table, along with plenty of wine to unwind our tired ski muscles. I would wholeheartedly recommend this trip and hope I will return. I would like say a big thank you to Stephen and all the team and my fellow solo skiers.

A great holiday from beginning to end. I have been skiing with Cold Fusion five or so times and always had a good experience. The food is excellent, the chalet is comfortable and walking distance to a ski lift, and the staff are friendly and drive you wherever you want to go, whether that is to the pistes in the morning or to the bars at night. I recommend it to all my friends.

I went for a new year ski holiday and wanted the sociable and group-ski element of a chalet, which is exactly what I got! Steve, Harry, Cali and Fede were great hosts - really flexible and accommodating to make sure we made the most of the ski areas. I met 12 new people who were friendly, interesting and fun to be around. A real benefit for me was always having someone to ski with who was looking for the same kind of day as me... First ever powder day? Someone will want to hit the slopes until your legs turn to jelly! Hung over on new years day? Leisurely skiing with others and relax in a deck chair outside La Cha cafe watching the sun set while chatting away. Want to improve your technique? Someone else might happen to be a telemark racer and ski instructor! There's someone to dance on tables in Chambre Neuf... play board games... hot tub... sauna...

This was my fourth holiday with Cold Fusion which I think speaks for itself. I went for the Christmas week this time and it really was a lot of fun! So lucky with the snow conditions, comfortable chalet, great food, lovely group of people, beautiful mountains, friendly and helpful staff, hot tub - what more could you ask for?

Cold Fusion ski weeks are brilliant. Everyone comes to them with different reasons and stories but ultimately, everyone is in the same boat with a desire to ski or board but have company they can dip in and out of all day too. It was very quickly a home from home and very different from a hotel. Mealtimes are round one big table and everyone chats all the time, with quiet bedrooms to escape to if ever you want or need to. Transfers to the slopes each day and options of collections in the afternoons too make it easy and you can do exactly what you want to do every day; inevitably there is someone else who wants to do exactly the same as you as all levels of skill are represented. Some like to ski til lunch time then come home for a hot tub and chat or snooze whilst others want to go until it gets dark- everything works and everyone can get exactly what they want from their trip. The food is outstanding. Every single meal was delicious and a delight. Can't recommend Steve, Nikki and Cold Fusion highly enough. This is my second trip over Christmas week with them and I'm certain it won't be my last.

Very enjoyable holiday. The booking process and communication before the holiday was excellent. You book your own flights, but the price of the holiday included my transfer from Geneva which went very smoothly. Ski hire just a few mins down the road and good quality. The lovely team at Chalet Chalupa were welcoming and worked hard to make the stay a good one. Food was a particular highlight - the chef is English but in the summer runs a French restaurant. The Chalet is comfortable, and the sauna and hot tub were pleasant after a day's skiing.

Cold Fusion doesn't use a conventional online booking app. You have to book by phone or e-mail. However they are very efficient and helpful. Plenty of pre-trip information is given. Airport transfers are included and arranged to coincide with flights from UK. On arrival the chalet staff were available with refreshments and all the information needed. Accommodation is spacious by French ski resort, and especially chalet standards.... The Staff were brilliant, they kept us well fed and were available when we needed them especially for transfers to and from ski areas in the chalet mini bus. Food and Wine were plentiful and excellent. Overall I had a great holiday with a fantastic bunch of people.

I have stayed with Cold Fusion a few times now both in Chamonix and Morzine and intend to book again. There always seems to be a few repeat customers and it's easy to see why, as a single skier it's a real holiday as everything is thought of and organised for you from ski hire, passes, airport transfers etc, especially good if you're getting back into it or a beginner as it leaves you to concentrate on the fun parts! The food from the chalet chefs needs a special mention as it's always been excellent, along with the hosts, atmosphere and accommodation.

Logistics from the airport were easy, lovely warm welcome upon arrival. Fantastic chef, driver(s) and daily itinerary made things easy and the host was wonderful. Hot tub and sauna were welcome relief after a hard day's skiing Highly recommend

I’ve just returned from my first trip with Cold Fusion and I could not recommend them more highly. The team were so accommodating and helpful which made everything run so smoothly. I could not have asked for more and will 100% be back!

My first ever solo ski holiday. After 30 years of skiing with friends I chose Cold Fusion and they did not disappoint. I was on the over 50's at Chalet Chalupa, a lovely chalet with sauna and hot tub. The bedrooms do vary in size so if you can afford it I would suggest going for the premium twins. Pillows were a bit big for my liking. Ed and Mikaela were excellent with advice, service and transporting us to restaurants and ski resorts. A special mention to the chef who worked hard all the time and the food was excellent. As the resorts are not linked it did mean leaving the chalet at 08.30 or 09.00 each day which was a bit of a shock as I normally do not get booted until 09.30. Transfers from and to the airport worked very well, around 1 to 1 hour 20 mins. If I do not ski with my friends next year I would certainly use Cold Fusion again, provided my ageing body holds up. One last comment, as a solo, meeting other solo's can make you anxious but the group of 13 others, age range 50 to 72,were the perfect group. We all seemed to thoroughly enjoy the week and get on with each other. Top marks to my group.

Been multiple times, always a good time

I joined a solo trip and had the best time! The booking process was easy, and the transfers, equipment hire and lessons were all organised seamlessly. Chalet Chalupa is warm and comfortable and the service and food wonderful! The other solo travellers were great fun and we had a great time skiing together. The CF team provided good advice on Chamonix’ ski resorts, aprés and restaurants and so all our days and nights were perfectly planned. Don’t hesitate to book w/CF, you’ll have a great time!

This was literally my favorite ski vacation of all time. The chalet was perfect - so comfy and convenient and warm. There was a sauna, a hot tub, and mulled wine all day long. The breakfast and dinner were exquisite and the chef took into account my food preferences. Besides all this, everything was hella convenient as we had a car drop us and pick us up from the slopes and Chamonix town whenever we needed. And ski classes and equipment were also taken care of - if you wanted to do solo or group courses, your preference was always met. Of course, the best part was meeting all kinds of people of varying ages and levels of skiing and snow boarding from various corners of the world. This gave us an opportunity to ski in groups and hang out in Chamonix city, grab drinks together, and play games at the chalet.

I have stayed with Cold Fusion Chalets half a dozen times - in various chalets throughout France: Chamonix, Morzine and Les Contamines. All my holidays were exceptional and I have come to expect a high standard. The chalet rooms are really comfortable, the staff are lovely and make sure they can do everything to make your holiday special. The food is always excellent and the chefs will make different dishes to accommodate different diets. The resorts themselves are excellent and I can't wait to holiday with them again later this year.

Just got back from my first Cold Fusion trip... what can I say other than it was brilliant! I stayed at the chalet in Les Houches and skied in the Chamonix area. The Cold Fusion staff are all lovely, nothing is too much trouble for them, they drop off and collect you, the food was amazing (the chefs are wonderful) and the chalet was cosy and comfortable. If you're thinking of a solo ski holiday, I would highly recommend Cold Fusion. I'm already thinking about booking my next trip!

I have travelled solo and stayed in a Cold Fusion chalet 3 times over the years and every holiday has been fantastic, allowing me to find like minded skiers and good company. They have all the usuals you’d expect from a chalet holiday, including awesome cake! Looking forward to staying with them again.

Booked for a week and ended up staying for two! The chalet staff of Ed, Mikahla and chef Marie were absolutely fantastic. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The chalet was a comfortable base from which to access all the ski areas Chamonix had to offer. The package even included a day over in Courmayeur which was great skiing & good fun as the staff skied too. Overall a great trip, thank you Cold Fusion

This was my first trip with Cold Fusion and I had a fantastic weekend staying in Hotel Le Prieuré. The trip ran like a well oiled machine; really nice hotel, great weather, and an amazing bunch of people to share the experience with! I am definitely planning on returning next year.

Another fab trip with Cold Fusion!! This is my 4th trip with the team (last in 2018) and they didn’t disappoint. Lovely super clean well equipped chalet with hot tub and sauna, comfy beds, loads of delicious food and super welcoming staff (Ed and Mikeala) and most important a great group of solo skiers. We were ferried about the ensure region even heading into Courmayeur and St Gervais. The chalet is in Les Houches which is quieter than Chamonix town center but perfectly located for a hard week on the slopes and the Kitch Inn still good for apres! Cold Fusion isn’t the cheapest but for the quality and the connection to like minded skiers in a quality environment with great food you can’t go wrong..... Thanks Cold Fusion team for a fabulous week!!!

Cold Fusion know how to do ski holidays, period. I've been skiing or boarding since 2006 nearly every year all over Europe with friends or my partner. Whenever I found myself solo looking for snow, then cold fusion has ALWAYS delivered. From the accommodation, the food (in house chef!), the service, the atmosphere - it is all exceptional. Yes, its a little pricier than when you organise your own trip with friends, but as a solo skier there is nothing better at value for money. Every place I've stayed in had outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna to soothe muscles. Also, the PEOPLE. Nicky and Steve are great organisers running the show and the staff at chalet are brilliant. Plus the variety of people and experiences you get to learn about from the other guests. It doesn't matter if you're 'pro' or 'beginner' or anywhere in between like me, you can tailor the trip for what you want and have a social time too. Zero regrets.

This is my 6th time using Cold Fusion and the novelty doesn't seem to wear off. They really are an excellent company. This was my first time at their chalet in Les Contamines and it was superb. Initially, I was a little concerned about using Ouibus but it all ran smoothly as did everything else in the holiday. The chalet hosts were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food can only described as top class and the resort amazing. I went in January 2019 and really enjoyed the quiet slopes and the friendly French staff who looked after the lifts and mountain restaurants. I highly recommend Cold Fusion.

Another amazing holiday with Cold Fusion! The new hotel style approach worked really well and it was nice to try something different as a repeat guest over many years. Hotel Folie Douche was first class, food excellent and ski conditions couldn’t be better. Steve also ensured we were all looked after as usual but also in these Covid times which was reassuring as a solo traveller. Brilliant holiday - will be repeating!

I'm just back from my first Cold Fusion holiday, and have already booked my next one! It was a fantastic group of people with wonderful hosts, an amazing cook and a great programme. The accommodation was lush, the slopes were incredible. One of the best holidays I've had!

First timer of Cold Fusion trips and I will for sure be attending another in the future. The staff and main organizers were absolutely awesome. Steve and Nicky did such a great time organizing the trip, planning events, looking at the weather and conditions for the best skiing/snowboarding experience and hiring the best staff. Mikaela, Marie Hellen, and Ed were top-tier and provided the best hospitality. Authentic, home-cooked meals were delicious and provided by the wonderful Marie Hellen, and Ed and Mikaela maintained the chalet so well, accommodated all of the transportation, hung out with us, and were so open and inviting. So many of the attendees have done multiple Cold Fusion holidays and I totally get the hype. You meet so many new people and I can see myself maintaining friendships in the future and hopefully will be attending another holiday with familiar faces. While December is early for the season and some chairs and slopes were closed, there still was a lot open and the team really made sure we got the best experience and snow for the timing of the trip. Such a good value for your money in my opinion for 7 days of great skiing, food, and company.

I have stayed twice with Cold Fusion chalets over the years and now booking for this winter. It is a great option for a solo ski or snowboard trip. The chalet and food is very good and the logistics well organised.

First time on my own, a 50+ skier, a little low on confidence. I need not have worried! Such a warm welcome (thank you for everything, Lauren), I was speedily kitted out and pointed in the right direction ... and very soon feeling at home and happy skiing. My fellow chalet-guests were delightful, and it was good to have ski-buddies. Morzine is charming - I very much hope to be back!!

This was my 4th trip with Cold Fusion and it’s still a winning formula and a fantastic concept. Every trip is different and a great mix of people all bound together by wanting to have a great time and a love of the snow. I’ve made lifelong friends and have had unforgettable experiences on these holidays. Steve organises everything wonderfully, he’s a great host but always keen for everyone to have their say and input into the week.

My second time with COLDFUSION and it lived up to expectations with Steve on hand to organise everything. Great holiday met some great people and truly enjoyed my stay in Chamonix. The whole holiday ran like clockwork from collection at the airport, welcome reception at the hotel through to dining out in the evenings. Steve has everything covered even on his nights off, Totally recommend to anyone thinking of a solo ski trip.

My third holiday with Cold Fusion and will definitely book again. Steve and his staff cannot do enough for you and was totally seamless from start to finish. Great social skiing in a fantastic hotel with excellent facilities and location and a great dining experience. 10 out of 10 on every level......well done Cold Fusion.

Coldfusion made a real effort to ensure each guest had a great time. The host was good at recommending places to eat/drink/ski, and the transfers allowed us to visit a range of resorts with ease. The whole holiday was hassle free from taking care of transfers, organising ski lessons, booking restaurants, and answering customer queries. I will recommend Coldfusion to friends

Third time with Cold Fusion and I already knew it would be another amazing week to remember. Accommodation was via Hotel Le Prieure rather than the usual chalet (which is no longer an option). It's always great meeting new people with the same interests and we had the same agenda for the week. Steve was an awesome host, making sure we were all at the right locations at the right times, managing to cover 7 resorts in 6 days! The hotel was great as a base for a change, although a bit more formal than the previous chalet arrangement. Eating out options were plentiful and we covered most styles of cuisine (mostly organised by Steve). Covid restrictions were manageable enough with the Passe Sanitaire system, so no issues there. Blue skies every day (unfortunately no powder, but enough snow) and it has been another trip to add to the memory banks. Definitely intending to come back next year!

A great week of skiing with ColdFusion. Steve is a really attentive host, making sure we were in the right places for skiing, apres and delicious meals. The ski guiding was awesome, finding hidden pockets of powder, and tree lined slopes. The Hotel Prieure was fabulous, rooms were cosy, staff friendly and a wide choice of food at breakfast. Overall a really great week away!

Fantastic trip with great people. The chalet is well appointed and the chalet hosts Liam, Rachel and Ozzy were faultless. There's nothing they wouldn't do to make sure we had a great time. The food was jaw droppingly good. Ozzy the chef excelled himself night after night. I can't wait to book again ! The chalet is practically next door to the Plan Joran lift and it's possible to ski from the top of the mountain to the front door (almost). The hot tubs were always hot. The breakfasts were awesome too. The hosts organised great trips to other areas too most days so by the end of the week we definitely felt like we had done Chamonix. A good tip is to get yourself into the QC Therme spa in Chamonix on a no ski day.

I came for a week ski holiday as a solo traveller. It was my first week ever skiing. Steve was very helpful arranging my lessons, passes, rentals, etc. and also making sure I felt included with the broader group, which was at a more advanced level. The hotel accommodation (cool apres-ski scene, relaxing spa, excellent breakfast) and included dinners were superb! I enjoyed the format of getting to meet other friendly travellers through the meals and also on the slopes. Would definitely do again!

Steve couldn't do enough to ensure that all those in the solo ski group had a fantastic holiday. Excellent personal service, accomodated individual needs and responded to suggestions. Highly recommend if you want to ski on your own but meet a great group of likeminded people

This was my first time on a solo holiday and the first time skiing in Chamonix. Having skied with older friends for the last 12 years it was fantastic to meet and ski with new people from all over the UK. I enjoyed Steve taking us to a different resort each day and then arranging for meals in the evenings!

I had a fantastic time in Chamonix. Steve was always very helpful and friendly whether it came to sorting out my lift pass, transporting me to the slopes or recommending bars and restaurants in town or on the mountain. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The food experiences were excellent and the concept of aiming the experiences specifically at people travelling solo is unique but perfect as it allows you to ride with people at similar skill levels to you.

If you’re looking for snow holiday with like minded, adventurous people where you also get amazing food, wine and everything else taken care of by lovely hosts that can’t do enough for you, I couldn’t recommend Cold Fusion enough. I wish I'd found them sooner and if they weren’t booked up til the end of the season I would book again.

This was my first trip with Cold Fusion and I'm so glad I chose them! Gorgeous chalet, fantastic company, fun, professional and flexible staff. Skied hard and partied hard and enjoyed wonderful food and hospitality. Thank you Steve & Vicky, I'll be coming back for more!

Came across cold fusion when looking for ski companies for solo travellers and I’m so glad a did! The intro to off piste week, with 4 half days ski guiding, was the perfect choice, even got a bit of powder for the end of the week. From the first contact with Steve and Nicky, nothing was too much trouble, and although flights were booked separately, transfers to and from resort ran smoothly. The chalet was lovely and offered all the amenities you could ask for, including 2 hot tubs, games area and areas for socialising. It was perfectly positioned, only a short walk from the lift up to the Grand Montets ski area, while the cold fusion team are on hand with transport to the other ski areas, even over to Courmayeur one day. There was 12 guests, ranging in ages from late 20s to mid 50s and everybody got on really well, couldn’t have asked for a better bunch. A 3 course meal was prepared 5 nights a week, accompanied with some really nice local wines, while recommendations and transports provided on the other 2 nights. The staff were all amazing and did everything to ensure a fantastic holiday, already planning a return trip, hopefully later in the season!

Just had the most fabulous week of adventure in Chamonix in the summer with my 10-year old son. There were 3 other single parents with their children (10 of us in total) and we all got on really well and will definitely keep in touch. The activities included rock climbing, high trees, mountain biking, white water rafting (all the kids favourite), day at lake Passy. We also did parapenting, some hiking, swimming, visited the glacier & the ice caves and even took the kids clubbing. All of us pushed ourselves mentally as well as physically and there was lots of laughter along the way. Steve and Nicky were excellent hosts, transporting us wherever we wanted to go, feeding us really well & just made our holiday special. I can’t recommend this holiday enough and I’m sure we’ll return next year.

It was my first time with Cold Fusion and I stayed at Chalet Les Bois. It was an outstanding experience. The booking process was very easy and Steve and Nicky were very responsive. Everything was well-organized. The chalet was modern and well-maintained. Our hosts Charlie, Mark and Nicky were very welcoming and accommodating. Our chef, George, wowed us every night with amazing food. I also made some new friends. I highly recommend Cold Fusion.

The chalet was great, but it was all about the legendary hosts Rachel/Ozzy/Liam. Really looked after you with great humour and just basically legends. Otherwise all pick ups and drop offs were great. My flight was delayed but no drama as the airport reps just rearranged transfers. I'm definitely going back. Food and wine of really great quality as well.

This was my 2nd time with Cold Fusion and won't be my last! The specialist weeks, make it really hard to say no to a ski holiday. The intro to off-piste week was so good they even organised fresh snow to fall for us :-) The instructors were top class, very encouraging. Food is amazing, the chef George truly cooks to a superb standard. Accomodation in Chalet Les Bois was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone struggling to find people to go skiing with, don't go without your ski holiday thanks to Cold Fusion!!!

This was my first time in Chamonix, and going with Cold Fusion. The experience was overall fantastic. The chef, George, really delivered every evening. The hosts Hannah and Charlie made it great fun and ensured that really we had nothing to ask for. I would thoroughly recommend them.

I stayed with my six year old daughter. The staff, chalet, resort, food, transport, everything was amazing!! This place would suit families, friends and couples who aren't looking for crazy apres ski. Good variety of ski runs, food and drink in a beautiful resort. Enjoy!

This was the third time with Cold Fusion and everything, as before, was excellent. The chalet staff were always available and food was brilliant. If you want a skiing holiday where you don't need to worry about logistics then this is for you!

I stumbled upon cold fusion while searching for accommodations in Chamonix-Mt Blanc with only a week upcoming before my trip, and was thrilled they were able to accommodate me on their 'intro to off-piste week'. My registration was processed promptly and I received all relevant information via email as soon as my payment was processed. My pickup/transfer from Geneva airport was extremely smooth, my flight landed at 7:15 am, and I was skiing at Grand Montets by 10 am. The staff was fantastic! Nick, Hugh, Tara, and Jake all helped to make my stay amazing. There were 11 other guests during my week, ranging in age from mid-20's to mid-50's and by the end of the week we were inseparable. They arranged off-piste guides for us for 4 half days in the morning, which was fantastic. The accommodations were phenomenal. I was in the mezzanine room, which is open to the entire house below (like a loft), but they were very upfront about this when I booked. It was minorly inconvenient that the bathroom was 2 stories below my room, and the shower 3 stories below my room, but everyone was extremely accommodating. The food, prepared by our chef Nick was amazing. 3 courses every night with amazing local wine. It should be noted that the chef gets 2 well deserved nights off, so you will be going into town to eat, so remember to budget for those two dinners, but there was never any shortage of food. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were all phenomenal. They also arranged for us to spend a day in Courmayeur, Italy, which was amazing.

I had a great week with the Cold Fusion team and guest in the Grand Montets Chalet. The hosts were great, always ready to help and drive us around the resort (avoiding the Chamonix buses). The food was outstanding through out, with great options for the vegetarian and gluten/dairy intolerant guests, thanks Ozzy! The trip over to Courmayeur as a particular highlight, great food and amazing skiing, thanks again to the hosts for driving us over for the day. As it was my first time doing a solo snowboarding trip I was a bit apprehensive about how it would be but Cold Fusion made it so easy and most of the other guests were repeat customers they were great fun to ski and relax with. I'm looking forward to my next Cold Fusion Trip, roll on 2020 ski season

I stayed at Cold Fusion chalet in March 2019 (Chamonix Argentiere) and had a brilliant experience. The chalet itself it modern and clean and has plenty of facilities to socialise (hot tubs, pool table, big TV, games etc). The service from the chalet hosts was excellent - from answering queries quickly, booking the pick-up from the airport, booking skiing lessons/ski hire/ski passes etc. The chalet staff were also brilliant and the food was of the highest standard (better than most restaurants!). I met some great people and had a great experience on the slopes and I would happily book with Cold Fusion again!

Just arrived back from a great week in Chalet Aberons. The chalet is in a great location, just a couple of minutes walk to the Plan Joran ski lift, which you can ski down to. I had sole occupancy in the deluxe double and it was really big and comfy. The food was exceptional, Ozzy is an amazing cook. I was the only non-meat eater in the group, but never felt like my food was 2nd class to the rest - in fact sometimes I was getting envious looks! ...This was my 2nd time with CF and I'm already planning to go back next year.

My second time with Cold Fusion to Chamonix this year. Lovely chalet, great welcome and fab food. It was my birthday while I was there and the hosts made it a special evening with a beautiful birthday cake made by George (great chef) and bubbles all round. It was late season, but we were fortunate to have a decent snow fall mid week and the Vallee Blanche was a privilege to ski. I had a great time and will be returning again next year.

I and my young daughter came for the Single Parents week and it worked really well. All the kids (and adults!) got on famously and had a wonderful time. We were also able to pool together and get the kids private tuition when the ski school failed to impress. The staff were great - really welcoming and up for fun with the kids - including karaoke and an easter egg hunt - Thanks Liam, Hannah and Vicky!! And when I managed to injure myself Steve and the team stepped in when needed with extra lifts and help dealing with insurance paperwork etc. I can highly recommend the single parents week if you want to take your child(ren) skiing alone.

The team at ColdFusion made our Single Parent Holiday "the best holiday we've ever had", according to my 8yo. From the seamless coordination, to the incredible food and endless ideas for fun activities, we were completely spoiled over our 7 trip. It felt like we were part of an extended family for the week rather than a Single Parent Family. I'd been on a fantastic Solo trip with CF a few years back and the staff told I'd really enjoy their Single Parent weeks. They were right.

Just come back from a new year week at Cold Fusion after not being on CF ski holiday for a number of years. 15 of us were in Chalet Les Bois and we had an absolute blast. I haven't laughed that much in years. Despite hard-packed snow we went out every day as the weather was glorious and happily skied, lunched and apres-ed! George, Charlie and Emma are legends for everything that they do! The fact that they make it home from home, can't do enough for you and for putting up with our rowdy behaviour!!! Steve and Nicki still have one of the best ski propositions in the Alps. As ex seasonaire's they know what people want and because they live in Chamonix they know the area inside and out. If you haven't been, then go! If you are nervous as a solo traveller, don't be! I have met some of my best friends through Cold Fusion and will be forever grateful x The red wine and cheese Detox starts today :-)

Spent an exhilarating week at New Year with a very social and entertaining group of solo skiers. Loved the chalet (new for this season), with its 3 hot tubs (2 outdoor) and its expansive glass windows looking out to the mountains. The evening meals could have been served up by Masterchef finalists - exceptional. The Cold Fusion team couldn't have been more accommodating. The whole experience surpassed my expectations (which were already high from reading the reviews). I'm really looking forward to returning.

I stayed at The Retreat in Les Contamines. The chalet was stunning, so well thought out and comfortable. The staff were really welcoming and couldn't do more for you. It felt like you were one of the family rather than staying at an organised company chalet. I booked last minute and everything ran smoothly. Last minute changes were accommodated smoothly. The food was outstanding, both healthy and hearty. A really varied menu with lots of new recipes that were delicious and interesting. I can't thank the team enough!

This was my first solo skiing trip and I definitely chose the perfect destination. The location, the food, and the chalet were all wonderful. The staff (Mark, Vicky, Charlie and George) made us all feel so welcome. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

My first solo travel trip, and although it turned out I was older than everyone else I was made to feel so welcome. The whole experience was everything I could have wished for and more, nothing was too much trouble for the young chalet staff who were so charming, easygoing, fun and superhelpful. Inventive, luxurious food, plentiful decent wine, driver service all over the place, great advice re where best to ski according to the day's conditions. And totally good value for money.

I was trying desperately to ignore the various snow forecasts landing in my inbox, but the ones with the subject line 'Powder Alarm' were giving me seriously itchy feet. Coupled with an ever-dwindling group of mates who might never be game enough to get a pair of skis on ever again (yawn), it was clear I was suffering from a major case of Snow FOMO. Upon finding myself with some free time in between contracts, a quick Google search led me to Cold Fusion, who just happened to be running an early season 3.5 day trip to snow-sure Cervinia. Rather different to their usual chalet + chalet host concept, but I took the chance and booked a spot on my first trip with them, and I'm very glad I did so. Steve from Cold Fusion - who's also one of the company owners - looked after us for the duration of our trip, and always made sure that everyone was happy, safe, and enjoying themselves. Some highlights: -Hotel (Punta Maquignaz, Cervinia) was typically Italian, clean, and offered everything we needed. Bonus - it was pretty much ski-in, ski-out, so no long walks or shuttle buses -On-time flight and no messing around at the airport meant we were able to ski for a full afternoon, plus three further days -Good ready-made ski/board crew, of fairly similar abilities who all looked out for each other (and of whom most were game for first lifts and a spot of après) -We headed down the valley for an afternoon in search of better weather, kindly driven there by Steve - you won't get that with a regular tour operator -Early season meant no lift queues. In fact, no queues anywhere -Snow by the bucketload I'd definitely recommend Cold Fusion to solo skiers/boarders, and will definitely travel with them again in the future. It's a great concept for those who have a passion for snow - but don't necessarily want to play the third wheel in a group chalet or can't find the enthusiasm to ski during school holidays with those friends who have kids.

Food and wine was delicious, Chalet was in a great location, outdoor hot tub. Ski areas were very varied and drop offs and collection at ski lifts is very much appreciated. Its my 8th time with CF'.

We had a fantastic experience with coldfusion, the relaxed and warm professionalism made everyone feel at ease. Letting us get on with the task of enjoying ourselves in the snow! The introduction to off-piste week was an exciting experience, equipping us with knowledge of the basics and the reassurance and expertise of the guides enabling us to enjoy the best terrain and conditions on offer.

My daughter and I had an incredible week with Cold Fusion. We were a part of the 'single parents with kids' week, and the trip provided an opportunity for my daughter to ski with other kids, which was great. The chalet is lovely and warm, with comfy beds. The food was incredible (a chef cooked breakfast, a cake for tea, and a 3 course dinner), and the hosts were really welcoming and accommodating. Kids had their own meals first, which made things so easy and seamless. We went to several different ski slopes that were included in our pass, and being dropped off and picked up from the mountain was amazing - no schlepping stuff from a far away parking lot! I would definitely recommend Cold Fusion to anyone that wants an easy, fun ski trip with some built in people to chat and ski with.

The place was an amazing experience. we enjoyed sitting in the porch and seeing tucans, hearing howling monkeys, watching different hummingbirds, and just enjoying a piece of heaven. They have fruit trees! Walking distance to beautiful beaches and within a few mins of amazing restaurants, shopping, and coffee shops. Peter and his wife, the host, were very friendly and told us a bit about the area. loved that everything is labeled in the kitchen and it was well equipped. This place made me want to stay in CR permanently!

This place was so beautiful and peaceful. The property is huge with well manicured lawn and lushes tropical plants. We enjoyed sitting on the spacious deck and seeing the humming birds drinking nectar from nearby plants. The house is a made hard cacha wood that gave a natural Costa Rican feel with gleaming hard wood floors. The host was great, very responsive and helpful with guides to restaurants and activities! This property is a five minutes walk to the most pristine beach in all of Costa Rica. We love our stay and would highly recommend this place and the wonderful host!!

Awesome location! Beautiful views with the sounds of nature echoing around you. Private and yet a walk away from an amazing beach and close to so many other things to do. Super clean, with plenty of room. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need, and don’t forget air conditioning! The morning view from the deck was so peaceful. Beyond my expectations. The host Angel was more than helpful. You won’t be disappointed!!! We’ll be taking advantage of this piece of paradise for many years to come
