Our Singles Snowboard Only Week continues to be one of our best selling weeks in our winter calendar.
This winter we will be running the Snowboard Only week in our new ski-in / ski-out Chalet Arberons at the base of Grands Montets in Chamonix.
Not only will you be able to to snowboard on a different mountain in Chamonix each day, but you will also benefit from the chalet’s amazing location being at the foot of one of the best off-piste snowboard mountains in Europe – Grands Montets! The chalet is only a stone’s throw from the ski lift and so getting that first lift on a powder day has never been easier!
For freestyle enthusiasts, there are adrenaline packed snow parks to be found in Le Tour and Les Houches along with an Airbag set up in Brevent.
These ski areas will include:
Grand Montets (Chamonix)
Flegere & Brevent (Chamonix)
Le Tour (Chamonix)
Les Houches
The aim of this week is to improve technique and build confidence on various types of terrain, both on and off-piste and in the park.
The week is open to people of all abilities and we can happily arrange lessons, guiding, freestyle and off-piste courses if required.
We understand that a ski holiday can seem daunting at first glance, which is why we will be with you every step of the way.
We can offer advice when you try on your ski boots for the first time, collect your lift pass for you prior to your lessons and accompany you to your lessons and introduce you to your instructor. Our team will be on hand throughout your stay to provide local knowledge, encouragement, hints and tips and advice about every aspect of a winter holiday.

- Waterproof ski jacket
- Waterproof ski trousers
- Ski gloves or mittens
- Ski socks (comfortable feet are essential when skiing and so it is worth investing in a few good pairs of socks)
- Thermal base layers (it is advisable to layer your clothing when skiing so that you can remove layers if you become too hot and replace them when needed)
- Light fleeces/jumpers (to layer over a base layer and under your ski jacket) – thick jumpers can be bulky and restrict movement when worn under a ski jacket
- Warm hat (we recommend wearing a helmet when skiing, but this can be hired in resort)
- Goggles and good quality sunglasses (the sun is extremely powerful in the mountains and the reflection off the snow can be very strong on the eyes)
- Sunscreen/block for the face and neck
- Winter insurance – it is essential that your travel insurance covers you for winter sports as medical services are not cheap
It is possible to hire ski clothing from many UK outlets and this may be a cheaper option than buying all items before the holiday – please feel free to call us with any questions you may have about what to bring with you or indeed any aspect of the trip.
