Chamonix

Situated at the base of Europe’s highest mountain Mont Blanc (4810 M) in the French Alps on the borders of Switzerland and Italy, Chamonix is one of Europe’s largest and liveliest ski resorts. Skiers and snowboarders are spoilt for choice with the offer of five mountains, each boasting vast and varied terrain with something to suit everyone, whether beginner or pro. For the more daring, the famous Aiguille du Midi is reached via Europe’s longest cable car and marks the starting point for spectacular descent along the Vallee Blanche.
